Main Bolts
I need 4 of the main cap bolts with the studs for my Dooley Oil Pan windage tray. I also need the stand off nuts.
Thank you & Happy New Year

Don't know about the stand offs but i think i may have a few of the old school fine thread bolts stashed over at jetboat bob's place.
Re: Main Bolts

Re: Main Bolts
Correct, they are fine thread and not identical to the FoMoCo main bolts. In order to use the FoMoCo main bolts with the Dooley setup, you would also need to change the stand-offs (<---actually in this case the correct name is "coupling nuts") to coarse thread as well, along with the bolts that secure the windage tray to the coupling nuts.Lem Evans wrote:the older Dooley bolts were fine thread at the top....
Jim, I may have a few of the Dooley bolts lying around as well, could add it to your current order when it goes out next week. Lemme check and I'll let you know what I have; currently I'm at Camp Far West for the NYD boat deal.

Re: Main Bolts
Not the hydro, though I have been making time for personal projects as of late, and the hydro is on that list. And I just got my tow vehicle runing again (new engine) so I could have put the jet boat in the water now that I think about it...but who knows how much runoff debris will be floating in the winter-time low level lake. I'm just going to watch a few passes and hang with the boating peeps.blown86hallet wrote:Lem Evans wrote:currently I'm at Camp Far West for the NYD boat deal.
