Are those finned valve covers available, or just prototypes?

That sure is a nice lookin engine with the blue valve covers. The question: is it a beauty or a beast?

That is Charlies handy work. He just put them together Saturday morning and they look even better in person. I'll let him chime in and explain what they are but he needs to make a couple hundred of them IMHO but they are not cheap.

Re: A few photos from the Roadhouse and Seminar
Thanks very much for the complimentary words guys. I was as impressed by the nine cam bearing Ford Pro Stock block, and the Pro Stock heads that Nick Burger brought, as I was about anything. Likewise I appreciate all the cars that Donald and Donnie had on display. I want to thank all of our speakers, all of those that brought display items and especially the hard work put in by Gail Lawyer.
As for the intake manifold, it has billet runners, flanges and bottom, and was made by Darin Morgan along with his brother Brad (who is the chief engine builder at Reher-Morrison). Then Mark McDonald welded in the nitrous bungs and everything turned out so nice that I decided to have it professionally polished.
The valve covers are something I had been wanting to do for a long time. I have always loved the old 427 SOHC cammer valve covers and wanted to try to replicate that look. I know they are pure bling and "custom", and they don't make the engine run any better. They were just a challenge to me and I have a lot of money in them, so I don't plan to make them. The bolt pattern is like the later generations of the bastard B-460 Pro Stock heads but modified.
I also have a set of Phillip's new sheet metal valve covers on Kristina's new Pro-Filer headed engine and I'm very proud of them. He had a set on display, so maybe somebody has a picture of them that they can post. We are encountering situations where we have to run billet fabbed valve covers with shaft mounted rockers, because the heel of the longer 1750 bodies of the intake rockers are getting "into" the usual cast valve covers.

Likewise Rick. It's not everyday that there are more Falcon owners than other body styles at the dinner table.
Charlie, thanks for your hard work putting this event together. Also thanks goes to Don Bowles, Todd and Gail Lawyer, Phillip Oakley, Lem Evans, Jon Kasse, Darin Morgan, Lake Speed Jr., and all others involved in putting this great event together. This was our first Winter Tech Seminar; it won't be our last.

Cool pics, Doug.
Charlie, the VC's are sweet. It would be cool if somebody could mass produce them. I would buy a set.

How were the covers made? Billet or fabbed from sheet?
