Re: DMC Racing's new ....
As best I can remember, the anti-roll bars first came about in the late 80's early 90's, when the fast bracket/early Top Sportsman type cars were transitioning into Quick 8/ ProMod cars. When they were going from low 5's into the 4 sec. range (1/8th mile). They were notorious for carrying the left front wheel 6"+ off the ground all the way to the finish line (1/8th mile). When they started throwing more and more nitrous at them, it became very difficult to control the rear suspension at the launch. Someone figured out the A/R bar was a good way of doing that.

Re: DMC Racing's new ....
Some of the early P/S cars were somewhat secretly using anti-rolls in the early 80's a few years before the T/S & P/M cars really hit big time.
The earliest anti-roll pics I have seen in a magazine are these pics of an ancient Alston P/S build from 1982 (way back when the Alston bros was still one company). The funny thing is the magazine article & picture captions kept mistakenly calling the 4-link bars ladder bars, and calling the anti-roll bar a panhard bar.
