Hi everyone,
I am new to the tunnel ram game and have a quick question if there is such a beast!

I have a 521 stroker with a Weiand Tunnel Ran on it. It currently has 2 brand new 850 holleys on it and I am wondering if that combo of carbs will be ok for the street/strip application. The engine gets delivered in two weeks and I will be putting in a sick cam as well.

I will post up the build pics when the project starts.

Thanks
Mike

What is your reasoning for using a tunnel ram on a street/strip build...?

Two 1050 Dominators will make the most torque all the way down to 3,000 RPM; by a wide margin.
If you're simply seeking the LOOK the 650 double pumpers will be fine.

ANYTHING "in between" will work ... just depends upon what priorities you want.

The engine already has a tunnel ram with two new 850's on it. The car will be built as an advertising piece for my company so having the tunnel ram sticking out the hood of my 94 mustang will look great. I know there are other ways but I would like to make the tunnel ram work! The cam is feeling better by the way, LOL!

The 2 850's will work fine, but like Randy said, 2 dominators will make more power all around.

The TR with dominators will be about equal to a Victor and Dominator at peak HP, but the TR will make more torque.
