BBF 460 Questions
I am looking at putting a 460 into a 1932 Ford, with engine and trans these cars weight approximatley 2500lbs, not sure what gears I will run yet since the tires I decide on will dictate that.
My questions are that I have found an engine from a 1973 Lincoln Mark 4, what is requried for this eninge to make about 350rwhp? The first engine build will be on a somewhat budget so I am curious about swapping heads from pre 1971 460's. There will be no AC or power steering or any smog control, as well as an electric fan so this should free up a few ponies. It will be fuel injected so a carb will not be an option.
Thanks

We have a member here who is doing up a similiar street rod build. He goes by patfrom jersey and has a thread about it in the General Section. That would be a good contact to start with. Good luck and keep us posted and we like pictures

Re: BBF 460 Questions
Getting 350 at the rear wheels will be somewhere around 450 at the flywheel and that is pretty straightforward; (although many different ways to get there).
