Damon, have you ever been in combat and had to shoot at someone, I bet not, people who has don't go around bragging about it, I bet you wouldn't have the balls to shoot someone, I have heard where you wouldn't drive through Illinois without a gun with you, I call bullshit, anyone who has used a gun to fire at a human, don't go around bragging about it.

I don't see Damon bragging about anything here scratch He is merely stating the fact that he is willing and prepared to defend his family and possessions. Why is there anything wrong with that? As far as being shot at and shooting back, what is so wrong with that too? I had a guy point a loaded Uzi at me one time, and I had no problem explaining to him the error of his ways. We saw things my way in a hurry.

Can't beat the Texas Castle Doctrine for some added peace of mind. In some situations/locations local police response time is just to slow & and you just might not have the time to sit there & wait for help to finally get there, (like in a small town with a limited "9 to 5" police force, or living way out in the outskirts of a town).

I was merely saying it is a lot different shooting at a human, than a target, seems guns are brought into conversations too often, and I stand by what I said, and who in the hell needs a oozie?

Of course it is different shooting someone, and no one in their right mind would want to do that, but if pressed into a life or death situation, even my 10 year old daughter would pull that trigger, and if you doubt me, show up and point a gun at her and see what happens. She is a very accomplished shooter for her age or any age, and she would definately not back down to someone wanting to do her bodily harm. Who in the hell are you to tell me what I, or anyone else "needs". If I want one, for my own personal satisfaction and it isn't for use for criminal intent, I should be able to own one without having to justify it to anyone. No one should have the right to tell someone else what they do or do not need. By the way, name me one conservative politician that has put any bill forward to try and deprive me of my 2nd Ammendment rights? I can give you a whole page of liberals that have.

It's amazing how quickly people forgot it was a Republican Congress who passed NAFTA and raising taxes skyhigh on the middle class. There was talk of assassination of Obama when he wanted to tax the rich and lower taxes on the middle class, remember how bad your republican congressman or congresswoman fought him on that and screwed all of middle class people.

If we get another republican president I am moving to Canada or Mexico but I sure as the hell ain't staying here.

That's just BAD ASS! *Saves picture to desktop*

Harold I’m not trying to cause a war of words between you and me. Yusomadbro? @_@ All I’m saying is if some one tried to harm my family or enter my property with ill intent then you bet your ass that individual will regret that poor decision. If you don’t feel the need to defend yourself then that’s your prerogative. I hope I never have to defend myself however I’d prefer to “Have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it”

Where do you get the impression that I’m “Bragging”? And when did I say anything about Illinois? I haven’t been on here in a while so refresh my memory. Illinois does have some rather strict laws regarding transport of a fire arm and of course does not have a CCDW permit so if/when I have to drive through Illinois then by law I must store my firearm in a case, unloaded and not easily accessible. Lot of good that will do anyone LMFAO!

I do recall posting a conversation with some indoctrinated kid that doesn’t believe ANYONE should own firearms. That same kid also thinks Saddam Hussein was an ally of the USA and he also believes Castro was a great leader. Wow is all I can say… Sure glad he’s not in charge.

I recently attended a CCDW Class and I encourage everyone to do the same. IMO it was way too easy and several people in the class should NOT have passed but that’s just my opinion. In order to “Pass” the firing range portion of the class one just needs to hit a man size target 11 out of 20 times at 21 feet. My grouping was approximately 6-8 inches 20/20. Several students were lucky to hit the target. If I don’t forget, I’ll get a picture tonight.

And I kind of agree with you Harold. A civilian Uzi seems a bit pointless to me LOL!

Now, I vote we need a “Guns & Ammo” section. Wink

Suspect
With much consideration and emotional discussion, the House of Representatives approved NAFTA on November 17, 1993, 234-200. The agreement's supporters included 132 Republicans and 102 Democrats. NAFTA passed the Senate 61-38. Senate supporters were 34 Republicans and 27 Democrats. Clinton signed it into law on December 8, 1993; it went into effect on January 1, 1994.[1][2] Clinton while signing the NAFTA bill stated that "NAFTA means jobs. American jobs, and good-paying American jobs. If I didn't believe that, I wouldn't support this agreement."[3]

Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't NAFTA mean North American Free Trade Agreement. North America is The USA, Canada and Mexico.
Wasn't the reason it was signed to limit our trading with China and the countries from the East and bring more trade to the North American continent? With hopes of establishing and maintaining better relations with our neighbors to the North and South of us. What did happen,
why is mostly everything we buy still made in China Question

Nothing splits us up more then this same ole bull shit! I sure hope your guy wins the next election whoever it is so this place can get back to where it was 3.5 years ago. Yeah I know "NOBAMA FUCKED UP THIS SITE TO"....

No matter who it is I'm going to be the same way I am today. I'm going to threat people with the up most respect until they prove they are not worthy of it. I'm going to stand behind my president no matter who it is because I know that makes the country stronger in the long run. I come to this board for car stuff to get away from the real world for the few minutes that I can.

Now i can't even do that...

Bottom line for me
NOBODY at work today was worried about losing their job because of more cut backs like that shit we went through from 2004 to 2007, instead we are all looking forward to some fat azz profit sharing checks!!! cheers
