Threw some scales under my turd............

Nice to have a friend of the familly who is a big baller roundy round guy, I got him to loan me his scales. Saves loading it up, burning fuel up to Mike's, 100 bucks an hour, fuel back...........you get the point lol.

I set the preload on the ladder bars neutral for a baseline. with my fat ass in the seat, both cells full, full NOS bottle, ready to go down the track she is 3048#'s. Front 55.9%, rear 44.1%

I lost about 15#s in the rearend upgrade, lost the primerplus cell, but gained another in front for the nos enrichment, added weight of a 7531 box......I figure its about the same as it was. Now add in the 40#'s of ballast it had in the trunk and the 25#'s of wheelie bars.............I had no idea it was that heavy and explains the reason it ran like it did ......hell I thought it was 60#'s light lol.

corner weights are off, but I have yet to set anything, I did take a bunch of preload out of the ladderbar on the right to get this baseline, so I doubt it was off much, it was wanting to go to the right pretty good so i know it wasn't right.


Just a little info, not much but what the hell..............

Can't beat knowing where a baseline starting point is, makes it a lot easier to work back to it if needed. That and keeping logs of each change made from baseline & the results of said changes.

As it sits right now with no ballast the car is 2845, I'm 200#'s...............cars don't go down a track with out a driver, anytime you refer to a cars weight I use the car and driver combined..............because without the driver it cant get down the track......simple fact.


without driver, if I put the 40#s of ballast back in it we ran with last year that puts the car at 2885, add 200 for the driver so it can go down the track and we get 3085.

my wuss car goes like this> left rear 660, right rear 661, left front 990, right front 960 of course me sitting in it.

I'll have to get the sheet...............she drove real good, I do need to take the lf spring down a turn though...............I sure woulda been lost without a baseline.

yep...............track was terrible, 60' was awesome, now if I can keep it from spinning through high gear I'll be...........

It'll be hard to get down any track right now with alot of power. you'll be good as soon as they get a few passes on the green surface.Green tracks and green oil just don't match up real good!!

yep only 3rd weekend open, just went to dust it off......I'll be ready for the 1st 5.30 race come April...........
