Who makes 184 tooth SFI 29.1 spec flexplate???

Used to see them listed in Jegs and Summit but haven't seen one in several years, they have several 164 tooth but I need the 184.

That would be a flexplate for an FE engine.

I have had both 164 and 184 behind my 460 and every time I had a 164 it would blow out starters and rip teeth off of the flexplate. The 184 is listed for 77-79 trucks internal balance only 460's from Bumper to Bumper and Carquest. Since switching I have not had a single starter issue. I didn't blow out just one or 2 starters I am talking over 50 different starters. My trans is a out of 77 F-250 with 400.

I still have a couple Jegs and Summit catalogs with the 184 listed from years and years ago just not sure if they are still being made.

Ok just went and looked I forgot I threw out a bunch of the really old ones. Damn what am I gonna do?

Only one I could find is on Summit and it is a Quicktime part number RM-956. Guess only have one option.

Meziere the water pump people make some high end all billet flexplates. Be forewarned, they're on the pricy side.

Why is this flexplate so hard to find? Is it because of being a 2 year only deal? Several times I have thought about getting a different trans case because of this.
