429 partial vin code's?

How do you decode a partial vin number off a 429 motor?. I am trying to figure out what my 429 came out of and found the partial vin. It is oy126211 any help is greatly appreciated.

26,211 thousandth, 1970 Wixom built Lincoln. Original 460.

Its the block partial vin code below the drivers side head in the back of the motor. It's not a 460 it has 4u stamped on the crank and DOVE A stamped on the block.

My motor is an old Lincoln block with a 429 crank as well.

one thing about the dove-a block it is the most wanted factory block and is worth more than the other factory blocks do to the main rails and it should be a 70 model block what it came out of is a big ? to me

It is a Dove A block 4u stamped on the crank d3ve a2a heads. It does not have the original intake or carb on it the heads also aren't original to this motor.

The guy i bought it from said it came out of a 1972 ford thunderbird. But a 70 block in a 72 car just doesn't make sense to me unless it was swapped at some point in time.

ive took D0VES FROM 75 72 ltds,72 torinos. the year it came from doesnt mean anything, the old mans 75 ltd had a 2y crank,and a dove block, we bought it new, never apart


also took org engine out to redo from a 71 cyclone it was a c9 block cj 429 engine 65000 miles, all nums matching,and dates

Thats kind of strange is there any way i can find out for sure what it came out of with just a partial vin?.
