Fuel question ?
dont know if i should post this here or over in the nitrous section ,
but looking thru all my timeslips and the jetting being the same on the carb/fuel side it seems that when i run c16 my mph is down 1-2 mph , as soon as i make the switsh to 114 it will pick up on mph and et ...... do i need to lean it up with the c16 ?

The burn rate/octane may just be too much for your combo...... I found on the dyno with an engine two years ago an 800 plus horse DO0E-R headed motor I built made better power with Turbo Bue extreme than with VP114plus, which is a higher octane just cant remember, by 10 Hp, many jet changes and playing around was also down with each fuel.... Which was awsome because the VP was twice the price....

Unless your 14/1 or higher 16 will slow you down a touch. With spray your tuning window will be wider and safer as far as detonation, but as far as power production it will be lower if your combination does not require that octane.

What fuel was the engine dynoed on?
