If we want to make this real interesting, we can run it grudge style, no scoreboards, and individual time slips. Put all 16 qualifier's names in a hat and draw for the match ups.

No one will know how fast the other 15 cars are running. I'll even give each competitor mic time over the PA system to talk a lil smack.

I won't be the fastest, I guarantee. Brand new combo very little time to test. I probly won't lean on it too hard it will definitely only have one kit on it. I'm not trying to complain, as I know how much goes into these deals, just pointing a couple thing out. As far as being baited, maybe a little, but it's a hundred bucks so who cares, as far as being embarrassed, it's a whole new combo so I may not even be able to get the fucker in gear. The .400 tree I do ok. I'm hoping to have a good time like we have every time we head down, and clocks off would be a nice twist.

Andy,please dont turn the boards off the spectators feed off of it.the duck at SGMP does not shut the boards down and i have not ever seen a negitive fan comment anywere.at shadyside dragway were we have a grudge race class they cut the boards off.fans have complained they pay their money to see a show so by god let them see a show!

They bitched about the boards being off at our KOV series last year, the fans should watch the cars instead of the scoreboards.........................

Up round here you simply put a N/T on your window and they shut the clocks off, I was at Black Sunday about 5 years ago and there was a grudge race going on and they forgot to shut the boards off and all hell broke loose. They are extra careful about it now!!!

Anybody know where a guy could rent a lift gate car hauling semi trailer? Thinking it may be cheaper to haul 3 cars that way than the three of us all pulling trailers.

hoping to be down to 3000 with me in it, the scale has been broke at the track for over a year so not sure what the old combo even weiighed. I have it as gutted as my 86 was and that was 2700 with iron headed 466 with manifolds.

This will be a new combo this year I ran 10.51@129.29 with the old combo but we sold off everything except the block, crank and rods from that build new combo is .060" over 10cc domed pistons with ported Motorsport A460 heads and a second gen trickflow tunnel ram with 2 1050's 2 3/8 primary headers with 4 1/2 collectors. trans is getting fully rollerized.

You guys all make my dinosaur feel like a fat ass I'll be over 3k with some 90s vintage spring loaded sticks. You guys with all of your fancy smancy pro built stuff make all of us home engineers look like amateurs.
