I'm looking for a posi for my 1979 F150. It's street and strip, this year I'm throwing some SCJA heads and a mild cam in/on the stock 460...(the heads came to me from Evans bros through Frank Merkl)... next year I'll be going to a 545...will one of these units hold up when I get amped up to 600hp, or are they chinese junk? I've got local guys trying to sell me 40 yr old used ones for more money, so I'm wondering if these things are any good?

Ok, thanks, i'll give him a try. Will let everyone know if SCJA heads/valves will clear the stock 460 pistons, and how this mismatched combo works out if they do clear.

Brydon at Quick Performance is the MAN when it comes to axles. You won't be disappointed. Cool

I've never bought a locker from those guys, but I've bought other 9" and 8.8" parts from them. I never had a problem. Cool

I don't think I want a locker Frank...never ran one but I hear they can be kind of brutal on the street, especially if it's wet or icy. That truck is too purdy to crash on a bad weather day!
Thanks Schmitty, I'll google him and check him out.
