What gasoline to use????

545 iron headed bbf , fully ported and polished, full roller cam & rockers, 14.13:1 compression ration. 1050 dominator.... mud racing engine!!!200ft

what gas to run??

Q16 or C16 you may be able to get by with 14 but under those loads I personally wouldnt especially with the iron head.

I can NOT use oxygenated fuel..
but the C16 looks good..

I thought C16 was more of a power adder type fuel, there may be gains with a different fuel over C16 for a n/a application without using an oxygenated fuel..............I have no experience with this.

C16 is good NA also. A lot of power adder guys use C16 over Q16 because it easier to tune and addresses volume concerns, so for a while now people have considered C16 as well as NO2 as power adder fuels which isn't the case with C16. Sunoco also has 117 which is cheaper,but has a very different specific gravity that I am not familiar with. C14 would also be a good choice and is designed for NA application and high RPMs. I have ran both 16 and 14 and prefer 16 even in NA applications.

For your compression even with Iron heads you could use VP C14 or C14+. I dyno'd with both but the Q16 made about 12 more hp than either of those, but I am allowed to run it in my mud racing class.
