Kentucky Riots

What the heck was going on down in Lexington Ky this weekend. Basketball rioters ?? Looks just like the scene in Vancouver Canada last year after a hockey game. Young people are out of control these days in both countries ? They are using the city street camera's to try and track down some of the rioters up here to give them tickets/fines and such.

I will be taking a trip down that way later this spring, I hope I don't start a riot just by passing through LOL.

Yeah, it's dumb. It seems like the more it is on the news and social media, the more they do it. I love big blue. I was in school when we lost to Duke in the regional by "the shot". I lived down on Woodland ave. (right in couch burning country), and nobody burned a couch then, at least that I remember LOL.

Spanking! I wished for those types of discipline. Between dad's backhand and mom's switching with those green sticks from an all to convenient bush, I repeated yes sir, no mam in my sleep!

Respect is what todays kids are in short supply of. Single parent familys can hurt the attitudes of todays kids as well.

Respect didn't have to be taught by a firm "hand" but it needs to be taught.

There is a fine line between spanking (physical discipline) and abuse.

Teenagers are like computers, they both need to have information punched into them

All kidding aside discipline isn't a black and white deal, what works for some doesn't work for others. Respect is another thing, it can be preached , however it works best if it's demonstrated. IMO.
