Lookin good! A guy needs a big shop when he's young. By the time you can afford one your too old to do much..Funny how that shit works!!

Re: A Poor Man's Shop
I plan on building a shop in the next year or two. I do all of my work and complete paint jobs on the side out of my 2 car attached garage in the suburbs. My neighbors love me. Especially whe the compressors running at 3 am, or I'm loading up at 6 in the morning.
Re: A Poor Man's Shop
Its nice getting out of the driveway!!
I've had a couple real small garages to work in and you get pretty good at stacking/hanging stuff lol!!

Jim, I do all my work in my trailer also. Isn't so bad, for what I need to do. Even changed out the torque convertor by myself in there. The one GOOD thing about it .....tools can only "walk" so far away.

Jim,
All the work on my dragster is now done in the trailer. Nothing wrong with that..
As you saw at my house.... The amount of stuff you have CAN exceed the amount of space you have...

This is true no matter how big of a shop you have!

Re: A Poor Man's Shop
Looks fine to me! When I built my truck the first time, it sat in an open shed with a dirt floor. It has taken years to scrape up enough to build a shop to work on hot rods and keep my vehicles out of the weather, but my business has taken over all the space and now all my vehicles except the Mustang and race truck sit outside. My late Grandfather's truck sits in the basement as I don't have room for it in the shop. I want to add on again for more storage. I guess you can never have a big enough garage...

That is so true. What you need is a really cool dad that had a shop when you are young.

I need to get my a/c put on top and of it to and lights put in it to make it alittle easier to work on it in the heat of the day one thing is if i drop a bolt it can't go to far for sure plus i don't have to lay in the dirt

Just moved all my crap into a storage unit... It sucks not having it all within arms reach 24/7. It'll do for now, but it's really just motivation to find a house with room for the toys I have.

In my best Jeff Foxworthy voice,
If you have a six car garage and a single wide trailer.......
You might be a redneck !!!
