What kind of power would this be good for? Do they stall to build sheet?

Re: Ptc converters?
If you want a convertor built to exactly what you need you should dyno you motor and provide the sheets to the builder, that gets you a realy good chance of getting it absolulty right the first time.
IMO the Convertor you have shown is something intended for something milder say 500-550 hp street strip stuff.
IMO it would need some upgrades for more than that.
P.S. PTC is a fine company and builds quality convertors. Also check-out Lenny at Ultimate, he offers some great products too.

Ok thats what I figured. Thanks for the reply. Any idea of Whst a converter that will hold 900~flywheel horsepower on nitrous would run through him? Glide with turbo splines if it makes a difference on price.

A quality convertor is going to run you around $8-900+ no matter who you get it from. Just be completely honest about what your combination is so they can get it right,

14:1 557 alum scj's solid roller Vic 4150 qft carb on e85. Then probably start with an 82 jet and work up to a no jet tune thru a big shot kit. Should br close to over 900hp at flywheel right?

Re: Ptc converters?
You need to get something built for the combo your describing.
Give them a call and get a recommendation and then give Lenny at ultimate a call and get his. Then pick the one you like they are both quality parts

Lenny is the bomb, I hear good stuff from PTC also, I know Blake uses them and his stuff hauls ass. Either way you need to contact them and discuss your build, dont buy off the shelf.

Re: Ptc converters?
another thing you should figure out is the motor vs spray.a converter for your combo n/a aint the same as with spray.its tuff to have it both ways but a tighter converter for spray is more user friendly with a BBF,lota TQ!
