transmission cooler?
on a mud truck where you only make 2 passes of 200 ft, no trans brake, is it really nessary for a transmission cooler???

lines still need to be looped together, run a good syn atf and a deep alum pan with fins is also a good idea. I vae one of the small heat sink type coolers mounted next to the trans under the car, no fan, have no issues at all even in the 100 plus degree heat.

it's not recommended but I have done it to get by before. some say they are fully compatible so you will have to just check your brand.

They last longer if you run a cooler. T he other thing is change the fluid and filter at the begining of the season if you don't run the cooler.
