Street Strip 460
I am wanting to build a 460 to go in my 64 falcon I want a stout engine but not to extreme. I had one in the past in a cougar running a rpm intake and cam package with ported and polished heads with screw in studs and guide plates and stock compression. Car ran good but needed higher compression for cam and intake. I am thinking of the same build only with flat top pistons. Any suggestions

Re: Street Strip 460
There are a lot of better cams available.
And for a real street engine with factory iron heads, I'd keep it at about 10:1 or a little under that

Re: Street Strip 460
Read through a bunch of the builds in the "Proven Builds" section and get some idea of where to begin with what you are trying to do.
