64 Ford Falcon
I am going to try to shoe horn a 460 into my 64 Falcon. I currently have a 347 not been happy with it since the install many years ago. I had a 460 in my 76 cougar and loved that beast. Nothing beats the feel of a big block. Has anyone ever tried to put thet 460 in a car like my falcon, like a 65 or 66 stang or other small ford. I have seen in in a magazine. I do not want to go with a mustang II front end I have been told it can be done with out does any one know.

It can be done with some "adjusting", but having owned a 64 Falcon many years ago with stock front end and now owning a 60 Falcon with a Mustang II front end. HANDS Down would spend the money ane time to put the Mustang II front suspension under any of the early to mid 60's Ford, especially one with the extra heft of a big block to get much better brakes.

I hate putting the headers on my sbf 64 Falcon I couldn't image the nightmare with a 460 in there. Cut that old junk out and put a MII in there like mentioned above. You will have no regrets.

You could also use the AJE strut front end, using SN 95 struts and spindles..
My dad had started putting that setup under his 64 Ranchero before he passed..

On a stock suspension tower deal, the towers will need cut back and plated. If it's done right the plugs aren't so bad.
