i know a truck puller who likes the brad penn oil.he runs alky carb,knda fat too,but the alky will be in bottom of the oil pan after cool down.he pulls the plug,drains the alky, and puts the plug back.

I also like to pull the drain plug and let a couple shot glasses full out..if there is any alky thats settled it will come out first. The Schaeffer's will actually get a brown tint when its been in there awhile under normal condions.

I am thinking the Brad Penn issue is more to do with street cars. FOr race do like richter69 says and cannot go wrong.
