Anybody use a scooter at the track?

What kind, and what is a good used one worth?

A friend of mine used to use a Schwinn electric scooter seemed to like it, and it worked all day. If your not towing the car with it I don't see why not, and it folded up for easy storage.

I have a honda metropolitan 50cc scooter gave 800$$ for it.Biggest problem I have with it is I never burn the fuel and had to have the carb rebuilt.It will run all run all yr and then some on a gallon and a half .This time I put air plane gas in it with a lead additive maybe that will help.They sure do save alot of steps and time.Top speed is only about 25 mph though.

I've got an '02 Yamaha Zuma. Good bike, quality built. Just turned 1000 miles. Stole it for $750 about 3 years ago. New they sell for ~2200.

I have found a few on craiglist and will probably look at one tomorrow.

we have the honda metropolitan all so no problems at all with it.my son bought 2 of them and made one with all of the trim panels etc on it then sold it.the one we were left with is striped down i just bought a 40.00 battery for it because i dont like the kick starter.

I have a 1987 Yamahah Razz. It needs overhaul (compression) and a tire and the brakes freed up. I needed room in carport so I moved it outside, thats when the brakes froze. It has the tires that came on it new and has 1100 miles along with the original owners manual. If you want it Russ, $100 will take it.

This thing will run 40-45 mph with my 245# azz on it and be forewarned that if you get it in gravel or dirt it WILL throw your azz down if you dont respect what it will do. But any scooter with small tires will do it. Just let me know, you have my number.
