This is not a commercial site to come and just peddle your parts, introduce yourself and get to know us, then after your post count meets the requirements then sell away...........if your here just to sell, then we dont need ya around anyway........... Wink

Im jason here in nebraska. i m just a Ford freak like everyone else. Long line of Ford blood....dad has the old classics. I like the big fast stuff.
Trying to figure out my 600" alcohol injected dragster. two years and i cant get her to rev up over 5500 rpm....this was my first big motor and first alcohol one and been a bear....
gap at .018, timing 34 deg, barrel valve started at 30% leak down, 320 spring psi, starts good, idles good and decent 60 foot, but get to 5500 and just stops pulling.
no popping or banging, and plugs come back wet.
rons #1 flowed, 40 nozzles flowed, .900 lift? c460 heads..msd says 7al3 is ok...changed crank trigger pickup? not sure where to go next..
trying to build a new one and start over.....blue blood is getting tested. lol
any help or ideas would be great.
working on a 600" with some of charlies heads from Mr. curley. thanks bob your parts are going together looking great. Laughing

best et 7.78 @ 176 mph at 5500....still trying

does it have a high speed on it? thats a ton of fuel IMO.


KY Jelly on here has a similar deal, it runs harder than that but it seems there may a point where alky is not the best fuel.

Welcome to the forum. I run similar stuff, and have for quite a few years.
My first impression is that it needs a high speed bypass. I may have missed it, but is it a toilet, Terminator or Hat?
What is the EGT in high gear at the stripe? Without that piece of info...you will chase your tail for a long time.

Suggestions...
-High speed bypass with a .050 to .065 jet...or so. set at about 65 psi to begin
-#38 nozzle jet
- open up the plug gaps to at least .035 (probaly no effect on this issue...but I run mine at .045")

I think that it is going real fat at higher RPM.
Call any time.

^^^this. a #40 nozzle is too big IMO too. http://fuelinjectionent.com/tuneup.htm you can use this for starters,its free and Spud is very good with alky.
