It's mainly to keep some people from just coming here to sell their products.

It's also, because your untrustworthy until you have 25 posts, after you hit that magical 25 posts, you become a changed man, you are then blessed and deemed worthy.

But, then if you take your dog to the same vet as a relative or friend of a member here does, and they hear about it thru the internet or a tweet that you both have frequented the same fire plug at one time or another with your dog, and they vouch for you that you seem to be on the up and up, AND your dog sniffs their dog, or vice-versa Then you could get tapped with the magical wand from the powers to be, and sell stuff with only 4 or 5 posts
