If you're in Florence, then Edgewater Dragstrip in Lawerenceburg, OH is just right across the river. Do a Google search and go to Edgewater.

Tommy, you are about 1/2 hour from Edgewater in Cleves, Ohio. This is a larger scale race track that used to host national events in the 80's. They race street/grudge on Thursdays, test-n-tune on Fridays, and brackets on Saturdays. This Saturday they have the Great Lakes Nostalgia cars; and a Hot Rod drag, show, and swap on Sunday. Tri-State Dragway in Hamilton, Ohio is about 40 minutes and has a full bracket program and a Stock/Super Stock race this Sunday. Tri-State is a family run track where you get good racing with a small crowd. This track still has a strip of grass running between the lanes! Then there is Thorn Hill Dragway in Morning View, Ky. I'm not sure if they are racing this weekend. Hope this helps.

Charlie, Dallas Kelly brought out his "Wrecking Crew" SS/B 64 Thunderbolt last weekend at Edgewater and ran 9.06 @ 147. Not bad for the first weekend out in about 20 years. He has been reworking it for the past 6 years. I heard that it is nicer than Paul Adams' T-bolt!

Man I had a great time at edgewater raceway this weekend. This is what makes this site different than others, members always helping others out. Thanks to Cougar for the ride and the good times. I owe you one buddy.
