My new victor intake has a 3/8 pipe thread and a press in nipple port below the thermostat housing. This is going in a mud truck and I am going to put a plug in the threaded hole and am looking at tapping and plugging the other hole. What do the rest of you guys do when not using the press fit port?

That's how I did mine. I also drilled a few tiny holes around the outside of the thermostat to bypass some coolant until it opened.
