Re: what needed
Cam upgrade would help some IMO
Any porting done to the Heads and Intake?
Hows its 60' times? Little more gear maybe? A Little looser convertor would help it to.

Re: what needed
1050 carb, more split in the cam and more lift, and narrow the separation.
Then match the converter to about 200 rpm above the torque peak.

What kind of truck is it & is it a Pump Gas Combo. I am currently building a 502 CID for my 1970 f-100, hoping to get in the 11's on Motor . I was running a 466 CID best time i had with it was a 11.73 @ 115 60' was 1.68 with a 125 shot of Juice. On motor best time was 12.40 @ 111 60' was 1.76.

its a pump gas motor runs on 87 but used 93 when racing it the motor is 10.1 to 1. its more of a street rod than a race car its has a overdrive trans that let's me drive on the eway 70mph is 2300 rpm's. i raced it on drag week 2009 and 10 in 2010 i average 11.67 for the week and made it to the semi. before red lighting had them beat just need to drive down the track my luck the winner was hurt. but won quickest street rod both year'sOldRed70 wrote:Quick
