Question about Milodon 4bolt main caps

Has Anyone used the Milodon 4bolt main caps ? What are the pros and cons ?

Are there a splade cap for a D1VE block ?

Thanks Paul Thats what I have been doing all morning ! I have found out I have a lot to learn . Thanks to all of the responses and this seems to be a hot topic .

My 557 made 860 hp and a D1 block with Cat splayed main caps, I paid 53 bucks for them. Ran for several years and several dyno sessions and everything looked perfect when I tore it down and sold it.

Shifted it at 7100-7200 and more than one rip to 8200.

Its a little more work to install them on a D1 block but it is doable.

The D1VE blocks are all I have left so looks like that maybe the direction I go in.!

D1VE block seems to be the most plentyfull blocks and all the others are rare or hard to find !
