Heres what i;m looking at, this is budget build. Its going in an 83 Tbird striped 10 point mild steel cage. Engine plates manual brakes and steering.
Dove a 2bolt block bored 60 over, decked, line bored, stock bolts in the mains.
Speed pro dome pistons machine to flat tops, valve location recut for scj heads 11.1 comp with steel rings gaped at 32 thousands
Eagle H beam rods with upgraded bolts
stock 460 crank 10 under balanced
Victor single plain matched to heads
1000hp carb 4150
2 inch headers d and d going into 3.5 exhaust
ford motor sport roller cam I think its 654 lift
2 stage nitrous 150 out the hole 150 second stage
Holley pro strip annialator Ignition system
A1000 pump for motor and spray
fuel cell
c6 trans brake
3500 tci stahll converter
9 inch with spool 370 gears
thi is a nos dedicated car what do you think remember this is a budget build. Joe I will get pics on here as I build the car.

Joe, Please put some good brakes on that thing.

Everything looks good except for the pistons. IMHO, cough up the extra money and get some custom pistons made. With 300 hp shot, the factory valve reliefs doesn't leave very much meat next to the ring groove with those Speed-Pros.

I got the assembly at a great price balanced if I get new pistons I may as well do a stroker and there goes my budget. I figure if I can get 1 season it works. With a good tune I think I'll be ok.

Joe, I've helped a couple guys change pistons only and all we did was make them all the same weight as the lightest one... Went from Speed-Pros to Probes and didn't have any issues, and being as they were lighter, it only helped the combo... Just my .02...
