Fox body brake Queston Empty Fox body brake Queston

I'm looking to change my fox body to a 5 lug set up on the front.Does any on know of a stock replacement rotor that is a direct replacement .I've been told a some yr of a mark VIIor a ranger ?????

also depending on which wheel there could be fitment issues this is due to the fact that the Mark VII rotor hat is too tall and the dust cap on the rotor extends too far out. This prohibits the center cap of the wheel from being installed. There are two solutions to this problem. The first is to install ½" wheel spacers behind the front wheels to allow more clearance for the dust cap. This also requires that longer wheel studs be installed on the front rotors for safety

Mark 7 for 1987 & up V8 cars <-- use different spindles and struts

Ranger for all others exc SVO. All up to 1986 and ALL 1987 & up 4 cyl cars.

I don't know if they still make them, but Power Slot did have a direct bolt on replacement 5 lug, 8118PSL & 8118PSR. Somebody may still have them on the shelf.

Ok my car is a 88 orig 4 cyl car. Should use ranger rotors. Right? any yr. or motor combo?

Use 83 to 92 4cyl ranger rotors.

Might have to take a grinder to the edge of the brake pad backing plate if it touches the rotor hat. I had to on mine. No biggie.

If you use the Ranger rotors use the Ranger bearing races with the Mustang bearings the Ranger rotor is ~1/4" larger than the mustang and may require a little loving with a grinder.
