What's it worth
I ran across this and have no idea the value. It is in good running order.170 Inline 6 cyl drives good brakes good ect. It is very solid and streight / rust free. All body parts are there bumpers trim ect. inside is orig. seats are recovered but io low quality. It does not have five windows the curved ones in the corner of cab are steel appears to be factory. All glass is good. There is very little there but every thing works turn signals heat wipers.Paint is bad, body is very streight and solid incluing tail gate and bed floor. Any body have any thoughts on what it is worth. It's as ugly as a fart in sunday school but I kind of like that for some reason.

Re: What's it worth
I could be cool was hopeing someone would have a idea of the act. value of it. It is a best offer kind of deal.I'm not sure where price should be.I can't find much info on value. Money is tight right now good I don't want to be upside down in something. To me it fits some where between collector, odd, rare or maybe just weird.

If you can find one in fair shape & price get it. The sale high on ebay. I payed $700 for mine 4yrs ago with blowed up motor and rusted out frame. You can ask Dan % Rick what it looks like now. still looks like sh*t but its got a 460 in it
got a pic. & whats the price??
only one I could find and its sold but no pic, but it had to be nice.

Re: What's it worth
I'd let him say what his lowest price is first..Hell you never know he just mite like to 500-750 for it and if you say you'll give him 1000
you just padded his pocket. if he wants 1500 tell him all you can do is 700 work from there. don't forget to tell him one of your kids is sick and your paying for the other to go collage and your wife will ether shot you or at least through you out and you don't even want to talk about what your mother in-law is going to do.
ps: its got a tail gate,, Ive seen them go on flebay for a really rusted ones to good ones from 300-500 for the rusted and up to 1500 for a good one and even that one needed work. the tail gates are rare and hard to come buy, hopefully he dont know that, I'd still offer him only 700 first.
Thats the same one as mine is, its wt. is 2414 the way it sits, there is a 200-250lb. wt. between the gas tank and bead take that out, mine was 250. also take that 170 out and put a 200 in it, it'll bolt right up moo poower and run 65-75 no problem, the rockers on them 140-170 dont get oil and you have run a outside line into valve to the rocks for oiling and they still dont get enough and they no power but will get 27mpg but so will the 200. if you can find 250 use that they run like a V8. I have one of each. 250s came in early gurnotas how ever you spell it. 200s in most mustangs. also a 289-302 will bolt right in, but the pencil drive shaft mite not take it, 7.5 rear.
Put a 9" in it and a 302 aod and drive hell out if it. you'll be happy......if you go any bigger than 302 you have to cut the motor box.
In 1966 I had a 1965 Econoline van and had a 289,390,428scj and 427 high riser in it.

Re: What's it worth
OK here's the deal I went over it good yesterday. It is pretty much rust free only rust is in very back bottom of right rear fender about size of coffee cup.I guess mud gathers there. has some old body work on panel behind drivers door nothing serious.Gate is good does have some rust whre pins go thru on bottom outside edges.Doesn't look too hard to fix. Finally got a asking price out of him He's asking 2500 OBO.

Re: What's it worth
LOL, I was just bidding on one that was on Ebay, but I quit at $1000. It was a '67 with the corner glass. I was wanting to build it to tow the race car back and forth to the track. Cut the entire floor out, and the bed side walls off, then build a nice heavy duty chassis with tandem axles in the back, and a diamond plate deck. I found a guy in FL. that make Ford 9" tandem drive axles. When all is said and done it would look kinda like an old cab over Mac my brother use to drive back in the 70's.
Re: What's it worth
To tell ya the truth its worth every bit of that and more. But I'd still try 2000.. To find one with a tailgate is rare but find one with a rust free body is Supper rare, you better get it before someone else dose. go get and have fun.
If it still has the belly pan on ( its on the front go's from frame to frame behind the grill it pushes the air up in to the rad.) you have to use it or it will run hot)..anything that you take off of it keep it, worth big $ on ebay.
you can get new rear corners here.

Got a question for you. About how far back do you think you could set the engine before you get into problems with driveshaft being to short and weird angles? I use to have a '67 Falcon Van back in the late 70's but it got total out in an accident and I don't remember a whole about the under carriage.

Well my drive shaft is 4" c/c of the u joint. have engine set at 3* to rear. and shaft is 3*s at ride ht.
My frame or gutter is what I call it was rusted bad so I cut it all out and ran 2x4 box tubing from front back to where its 10" in front of 33" tire and then 2x3 from there back. the 2x4 had to be 38" out side to out for the straight axle, the 2x3 isran up to the front past the end of the 2x4 until the cross member is 2" behide the trans bell, and short piece's of tubing from there back connecting the two like a ladder to give make it stronger instead of just a cross member at the end of the two. the 2x3 is 23" os/os. I have 1" each side with these on it.
Hoosier PRO STREET RADIALS
Tire Size..33x21.50R-15LT
Tread
Width..16.8"
Approx.
Diameter.. 32.0"
Section
Width..21.3"
its got c/o & ladder bars
ps: the back if the carb is even with back of cab witch is front of bed. I put pic's a long time ago in the whats your ride look like or what ever it is called.
