C6 Builders in Seattle?
Where can I get my C6 upgraded and built so it can handle 600 ft-lbs of torque? The transmission is out of a 1978 F-250 with 460. Could I possibly build it at home to save a buck? I have zero transmission knowledge. Thanks!

You won't need to do a whole lot to it for that.
Typical high quality rebuild and a good shift kit and a few little mods will be it.

I think Gary Eriksen (Super Street Racer out of southern WA or Northern Ore) ran the C6 in his race cars for years. Don't have contact info but for sure the guys at Oregon Cam grinding know him.

Dukes transmission in Burien or Village transmission in North Seattle.

What about a little over 700ft-lbs/650hp? Want to make it less of a hp sucker. What do I need? Oversized sprags, ugraded pressure regulator, reverse boost valve?
