I have liked the 385 series since the late 70's. I had a 70 cobra drag pack car and a 69 boss 429 back in the day. Currently have a 71 mustang conv with a 429 cj - 4 spd and a 69 mustang fastback that is a street/strip project.

Welcome...I'm new here too. I usually go to Seattle Inter. National raceway 5 or 6 times a year. SIR and Bremerton are my two favorite tracks. Bill

I haven't been to Bremerton. A lot of people say they like that track. I used to race street class at SIR back in the '80's. I ran my 71 last summer just to see what it would do. I had a hard time trying to launch, couldn't see the tach and the tree at the same time, couldn't hear the engine, kept burning the tires. It ran a 14.1@105. 60' was 2.5 and my reaction times were slow too. With a good launch the car should be in the low to mid 13's. It's a stock cj with headers.
