Strut choice question
on my "budget 79 nothback", id like to upgrade to coil over struts in front and go with inexpensive "fixed" valve struts.
which would be preferable 70/30 or 90/10 with 175-lb springs??

Re: Strut choice question
x2 on the Strange struts. We adapted their struts and coil over kit to my Fairlane. They work and are a good entry level adjustable strut.

As for the coil-over kits make sure you get one where the adjustment ring is notched so you can adjust with a common spanner wrench. I have the Steeda kit on mine and I hate it, knurled ring and a real pain to turn. It's one item that will be replaced in the near future.
Re: Strut choice question
I have the Strange struts and the QA1 coil over kit. Both are nice.
