Bowling Green NMRA
Din't see a lot of theusual guys up there this yr.Missed seeing ya'll there. The racing was fun.The board was well represented ,there was a bunch or bracket cars there. It came down to three car's David Cole went to simi's and my car got beat in the final's.I think we were the only two board members in B1.Thought it was a pretty good showing.

Ward did a good job driving on Saturday. Not many people I would trust with it. My hand was better so I had to get my speed fix on Sunday. Congrats to Ward's hired gun, Jonathon on his runner up. Had a blast and talked with several forum members.
Pretty decent shot of the the fat old 'Bird

Congrats on the semi finish Ward !
David was doing a splendid job of tuning that alky engine!
Congrats on your white Mustang getting to the finals as well.
It was great talking to you and David, as well as the other board members there.
That was the best NMRA race I have attended yet.
I finally went some rounds and got some valuable seat time in my Pure Stocker.
I was just happy to break that first round redlight jinx @ BG.
I am really looking forward to next year.

That it is. Connected to a nice block, connected to a nice set of heads and nice intake with a nice camshaft and pistons.
Thank you sir!
Went a best of 5.26 @ 132 NA this weekend @ 2955 lbs. More in it. They kept running the kerosene sprayer (damn jet car) down the track and the bracket cars were always first in line after it. That thing sprayed the whole track each time with plenty of kerosene that the track guys couldn't clean up totally

Ward, David, and Jeff P.,
It was good seeing you all there, congrats on doing a fine job of driving and racing.
Guys, I have to brag on David Cole a little bit. Two years ago he sold his American Racecars dragster to Phillip Oakley. Phillip's daughter Morgan drove it for a while and meanwhile back at the ranch David's 588 CID TFS A-460 headed engine got sold to Scott Carman. Scott is one of our local BB Ford dragster racers has an all aluminum engine in his #1 car and then he got's David's 588 engine in his #2 car. This engine is well over two years old and has never been freshened up and just won $2000 last Saturday night at E.T. Dragway's Quick 32 race in Lyons Indiana. Still running strong Good job David

Re: Bowling Green NMRA
Like I said the Bird was best ride of my life.Glad you think enough of me to drive.
The hired gun in my car was Jonathon Hall he is a friend of mine from near the house. He has alot of talent. He goes rounds every where we go.He is alot of fun to be around.
I've always been able to get the cars set up where they will run the number and get them down the track but have never been a good shoe to bracket race.Since I've had so much metal put in my neck it is even harder for me to cut consistant lights. Some days I can hardley feel my fingers on my right hand.
