New Truck
Just picked up my new F-250 from Lem and the boys at BF Evans.
The truck was delivered back in August but I just got back to States to pick it up this week. I got the F-250 Lariet 4X4 Supercab with the 6.7L.
This truck has some get up and get the hell out of my way! Cruzin down I-95 at 70, put your foot into it and this thing will MOVE. That new motor is a big improvement over the 6.4, I guess Jon was right about moving up to the 6.7L
If anybody is looking for a new pulling rig, Lem will give ya the same service he provides with new go fast parts.

Bruce, you know this thread ain't worth a damn without photos .
I would love to buy a new truck from Lem, but that would mean I would have to stay at Gulfstream another 5 years. I don't love Lem that much .

Re: New Truck
I've had two of the new diesels, and they are some nice engines, the wrapper isn't too shabby either. You will need to get about 10k miles on it before it's broke in good and the mileage will suck until then. Congrats on the new ride.

Re: New Truck
My first was doing low to mid teens doing farm business and hiway, but when we went to last years tech seminar it did an honest 20mpg all the way around on that trip. It had about 15k on it when we went to KY. The new dually is doing mid teens right now, and is about 4500 on the odometer. Phillip has one just like it and has some miles on it and last I talked to him it was in the upper teens on the hiway. I have an H&S pipe and chip for mine when the warranty runs out to delete the DEF,DPF, and EGR. That is supposed to add a little power and get another 3-5mpg.

Or the other way around, DEF in the fuel tank is a quick cure for all of the money in the bank.
