Re: 3" Kinsler stack injection
I'm pretty sure it isn't a pricing problem Jason, I think it is just a small market niche item because it is a C head part. Time and time again you see the super expensive big stuff like sheet metal intakes and stack injection for C/thor motors for smoking deals because the demand is so small no on is buying. At least on this site anyways.

Re: 3" Kinsler stack injection
Let me just say up front that I'm new to the BBF, but I do have a 1970 motor out of a Torino that I'll be dropping into my '68 project Mustang. Having said that, I love the look of these setups and have long been interested in finding a way to make this work for my car. Can you tell me if this will fit my stock heads, upgrading these at sometime, and what recommendations you might have for controlling the EFI.
Thanks, Clint

Re: 3" Kinsler stack injection
I'm pretty certain these are not C-head specific but can be fitted to most any engine, not just C heads. Just fabricate yourself an adaptor or intake flange/valley setup. It's pure custom fab for this caliber of componentry.
Blue Blood, this is not an EFI system it is a mechanical injection system. It is a "continuous flow" fuel delivery system that has two settings only: "idle" and "wide open throttle." That's it, there is no part throttle nor is theere a steady-state cruise circuit. It is a drag racing setup specifically. Converting this to EFI would be a huge undertaking and expensive (and sacrelige, in my opinion) and you would throw away almost every part except the throttle bodies/stacks. There are EFI stack systems out there and that's what you should be looking for if that's what you want.
It's a very nice setup.

Re: 3" Kinsler stack injection
Thanks Coug, are there any options for heads that I can swap into to make this work?

Re: 3" Kinsler stack injection
Yes they can....although I think it would be a complete mis-match for most any typical D0VE-headed engine.the Coug wrote:Blue Blood wrote:Let me just say up front that I'm new to the BBF, but I do have a 1970 motor out of a Torino that I'll be dropping into my '68 project Mustang. Are there heads that I can use with the stock block to make this work?
