Boost with E460 heads?
Hi all,
Curious if anyone has ever put boost to an E460 headed combo and what the results were.
Also, with me not being very familiar with the aftermarket for BBF's, will the E460's bolt onto Eliminator/A460 blocks or do you have to use the A500 block?
Thanks

Do you already have the E heads? If not, I'd look at a different head style, as these are some pretty exotic pieces and there isn't much on the pro side of a pro/con versus something with more commonality like the A's or C's etc that will bolt directly on the Elim/A460 blocks.

No I don't have any parts yet, this is why I am asking now. Have access to a set of complete E460's, CNC'ed and ready to go for a really fair price.
I haven't gotten very deep into my BB research yet, trying to figure out if the E460/A500 route is worth the $$$ over say something like a Profiler C head/Eliminator block combo.

Where are you headed with this deal? Is it some kind of specific class deal or something else? The E's are definately cheap to be had on the used side, because of the exotic nature of them and a very limited audience.

Re: Boost with E460 heads?
Locally don't have a lot of rules, so head choice is pretty open. I am a small block guy and getting close to the end of its current potiental. Need to decide where to go from here. Its a radial/10.5" tire car.
What other downsides are you looking at with the E460's? A500 is more money than an Eliminator block, will need a specific belt drive and shaft mount rockers which are most likely not mass produced which = more money than "standard" belt drives & rockers. What else would be considered exotic for that build?
