Induction-Solutions X275 BBF
Just would like to take a moment to thank Steve and his crew for joining us again in 2013 . This will be a complete turn key package with 4 tunes , new regulators, and electronics. This should add a couple of more ponies to our Oakley Motorsports power

not really , if you look at the price of the fogger and all the work that goes into getting the intake ready and installing the fogger and then flowing the deal with on the on track support ...... its cheap !!!! ...just saying

Re: Induction-Solutions X275 BBF
Nick,
What is the thinking behind milling off the bosses on the runners and then replace them with the tube connection?
I thought thats what those bosses were there for.
Just asking cause I don't know.
Thanks,
Gordon

A bit of a secret is the depth of the fogger nozzle in the intake. Makes for better distribution...

What is the reason for milling off the cast on NOS bosses?

Hey Guys,
Thanks for taking time to take a look at this lil project. I thought it came out pretty nice for a BBF..
I noticed a couple ask why we remove the factory cast bungs ?? there are actually a couple of reasons.
1. They are bigger and heavier then they need to be.
2. By the time you drill, tap. and correct the depth per port it takes as much or more time then putting in a bung.
3. Our bungs are CNC made, drilled, tapped, and also counter bored from the bottom. This make the nozzle less sensitive to port signal.
4. It looks cleaner OUR way I feel. we really try and make our stuff look as good as it works..
Here's a veiw at a nozzle in a manifold that will help shed some light on some of what I have mentioned..
Also, for those that may ask next, does this add additional cost to the job... NO, not for you guys. It does for me but we do it at our cost as it is what's needed to do the install the best it can be and that's how I like our stuff done.. Thanks for your time.. SJ
