Another newbie looking to fit
Hi guys. I've been lurking for a bit and thought I'd dive in. I'm a Ford fan and have been in hot rods most of my life. I've built a few hot rods over the years and recently dove into building my first race car project (I got tired working on my brothers Max Wedge car ).
Here are a few mock up pics. I am at the point of positioning drivetrain...thus the shims, blocks, and other junk in the pic. I have not decided on a Cu.In. yet...these are things I am here getting info on. I am thinking in the mid 500s. It is four link, struts and will have a Liberty Equalizer trans.
I am looking forward to input. Thanks for having me!

Thanks for the kind words, fellas. Things are at a bit of a standstill this last month. I've been helping my Dad finish up his hot rod. When I get back to it, I am going to take a stab at the tubs and tins.
Meanwhile I'll post a pic of my wife's '56 I built 5-6 years ago...No big block...but a Ford nonetheless...Y Block powered.

Very nice Craig. Your chassis looks very similar to mine. Can't wait till we get to see more pic's of this as it comes together.

WOW. 8)What color is the wifes ride? Is it a metal flake job or does the pic make it appear to be?
