Injector Scoop for Nostalgia Races?

This summer, I plan to run several nostalgia drag races.
One race has rules that prohibit "modern" hood scoops. Just a couple of years ago an NHRA Nostalgia tech official even told me that my old, home built '58 Custom was too "high tech" for them.
I may have found the solution. One of my buddies surprised me with this cool injector scoop. Just take off the hood and bolt this baby on! It should really carry the mail.
Now I just have to worry about the guy in Loveland, Colorado wondering where his paper box went.

...and you just figured that out? I have been cobbling things on the old 58 for a long time. About 40 years ago, I made a heater block off plate from a no trespassing sign. It was in there until about 2009.

You took that from my Mother Inlaws.... You just as well keep it. I replaced it already

That trick was popular in the early 80's. I remember a Pinto that ran at Maple Grove had one of those.

That is real cool! Back through the years I would see people doing that and always thought it was very unique.
