leaving Chevy and going to ford big block more bang for the dollar,cast head rule and flat tappet ,7800 rpm chip rule .
Ran 460 .030 over ,dove head in the ninety,s is that still the best combo for this/ Wink javascript:emoticonp('Wink')

I believe the new hot setup is a carrol carter aluminum block, Kaase boss 9 aluminum hemi heads, 600 inch rotating assembly with a Bert ballspline trans behind it. Once you have this done you just need a written note from your great grandmothers dads uncle, 2 world war 1 vets, and the blessing of your local tech guy and you will be fully I M C A compliant with the modified rules. ( Did I mention that a cash gift to the tech staff goes a long way)!!!! ;-)

7800 in a edurance application is going to be a little aggressive with a BBF IMO.
