Anybody, its for my personal use as well as for my business trucks and friends cars and my own. I don't work as a Mechanic for a living but have a garage and we hang out their and work on all of our cars and drink beer and you know.

Re: Code Scanner
The Actron unit they sell through advance is not bad for around $400 and will do pretty much all the computers. The vehicle selection is not as broad as say the SnapOn but you can usually select a vehicle that it's similar.

That only does OBDII unless you pay ~$80 for the additional plugins the Actron unit does OBDI, OBDII, EECVI and the earlier Chevys and Chryslers for ~$429. I had a Mac with all the plugins was over $700 and I would bet money it was made by Actron I had the two side by side and only difference was the color.
Do some research before you buy!

Was reading on the Actron and it doesn't have the capability to reset check engine codes. Other than that it looks like it can do everything else I would need. Unfortunately I was to be able to reset the check engine lights.
Thanks bugblok2000ranger

Re: Code Scanner
I miss spoke earlier, I look into the Actron cp9190 code scanner and found out that it does reset check engine lights. AND on top of that I found it on amazon.com for $258.57 Now that's it I think.
Thanks again

Re: Code Scanner
Actron has a package deal where you can get all the adaptors I spoke of, you will save a bunch if you buy the package deal over buying them separately.
Bugblok? You musta seen what Rich named my engine.
