A-460 Intake adapters; anyone use them ?
I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Price Mototsport A-460 intake adapters on anything?

working on a project that might be a dyno mule for a couple things I've been thinking about.
Was thinking it might be interesting to run a dual plane on a 528, just to see what would happen.

I used the Price adapters to attach a scj blower manifold to the tfs A460 heads.

Jon, do you have a 'old school' tfs/ford motorsport 1 x 4 manifold?

Yes the 1st generation A-460 single.
If play with the cam in this thing ( cam change pump gas engine) I was wondering what I could get it to do with a different intake from 4,000-6,000 ?

I have done this very same thing. also.
They will really need to be port matched to avoid some restriction however, they do line-up perfectly..
Those adapters are now part of the heads as they are attached permanently.

I have two observations:
1] The 1st gen. 1 x 4 does make more power than the new gen. tfs manifolds when the rpm is less than 6,000 rpm.
2] From 5,000-6,000 rpm I'd think the 1st gen. manifold will kill a dual plane manifold.

And they will provide pretty good hood clearence.

got it.
I was thinking about my old FPP dual plane or a Blue Thunder with a Domi carb flange as a comparison. Just something I've been thinking about.
