Just for fun, Anyone with a desktop dyno? 829 Cid build
I have a 829 Hemi that I may put together. I'm looking at finding a smaller crank to fit into an NMCA class, but If I don't, I was wondering if someone could run numbers just to see about what I may have to do for a cam.
The current cam is about 1.300" lift. I have no intentions of running this cam and the 8200rpms and maintenance it needs.
I'd like to spin the motor to 6500, 14.5/1 compression. The heads (Ford B441C Hemi) have 2.7" intakes and 2" exhaust. Not sure what the heads flow, but I'm sure the intakes are in the 500+ range. 4.8" Bore/5.75 Stroke.
Thanks!

You need to talk to Jon Kasse, he has the most experience with these engines.

Our 815" with the B441 heads and a cam in the 1.200" lift range with Dale Cubic split dominators made 1850 back in 2007...that's the engine that was in the car in my avatar. Went 6.54@214 at 2550#, 5 speed Liberty...

Nevs...from the avatar pic, and your location, you must be a Hauf??? If so, we have one of your old 820" motors now in our Top Sportsman car. We actually have CFM splits from you as well...may be the same motor you're referring to??

Not one of the Haufs, but one of the other two partners. I hope it's treating you well, I know it ran well for us.
