545 Pump gas what size dominator to use???

What size carb is good for a 545 pump gas with Alum ported Scj heads and a 4500 series Victor intake?

Im running a qft950 on my 521 pump gas build and I like it but I guess it would depend if your Victor is for a dommy or 4150 carb. They do make 4150 flange 1050 Quick Fuels as well.

10.8:1 comp, TFS streets ported by Charlie, TFS track heat 4150 intake, hyd flat cam. -in a mud truck/beater.

ITs a 4500 series intake???

I think a 1050 would be a must. JMO

I was kind of thinking maybe an 1150. Thats why I was asking.

I'm with you on the 1150. That's what I have on my 552 and it was spot on. The carb I have is actually a 1050 that was reworked into an 1150 by a freind of mine that is a great carb guy. There are lots of good carb guys out there, and the Quick Fuel stuff seems to be getting the nod right now for best out of the box carbs. Phillip Oakley is a dealer for them, and I'd get with him about your needs.

Don't you have a Dominator on your car now? I figured it's a 1050 because you have 88 written on your bowls.

It's not in the catalog but QFT can do a 4500 with a bigger venturi than the 1050 but smaller than the 1150...not quite 1/2 way in between the two [1/8" difference between a 1050 and the 1150] . I'm not sure , at this point , if the 1150 is the way to go but it is my opinion that this "tweener" thing should be good .
