Anyone going to Drag Week?

My brother and I just made it before it sold out. Making it in is definitely going to give me the motivation to getting my stuff running properly again. It's been sittin' waaaaay too long. Will be leaving from western Pa if anyone wants to meet up. Lee

That's my intentions. I've long hauled a Power Tour so the driving distance isn't an issue. I just need to get this thing back to looking more presentable. I'm pretty much gonna have to run in daily driver. I'd look like a snail in one of those big block classes.

I'm not going this year, but what does your car normally run? The slowest in BB/NA Street Race will probably be around mid-high 12's.

I ran BB/NA street race last year and had no idea I would finish the week in second. It's drag week, ANYTHING can happen!

have run low 11's but no roll bar so run 11.60's

Are you planning on running DD with Mike or playing the odds in BB NA?

Im in DD now but keith wanted me in bb n/a in 2010 but i stay in DD i could of won it in 2010 with my ET only a couple car i average 11.58 in 2010

I'm well aware of Drag Week being addictive. I went w/ my brother in '09 and '10. I got hooked and have been waiting for it to return closer to to me. I was hoping by the time it did my car would be ready. Unfortunately, I'm gonna be thrashing all summer. My best is 11.74 on the motor, but usually 11.90's-12.00. Spraying it a little I've gone 10.95 but I don't think I want to use it during Drag Week. That stuff has been big time inconsistent for me. I've messed w/ it over 3 seasons and can't figure it out. My luck, it'll perform flawless so I turn in the good N2O slip to them on Mon I won't run another good one all week.


Quick 52, is your name Dale and is your truck purple? If so, we've met before. My brother has a hot rod black '84 GMC truck w/ a 455 Olds that his wife drives.

with drag week being held at beach bend will anyone be coming to watch day one or day 5 the LS fest is going on the day before the start should be a long fun weekend... I will be there will my 52 F1 maybe we can meet up during the day here's a pic of my truck so you will know it. im running in daily driver class should be in the 11.60 range

Yes that is me. Thanks. It's been a super fun car to play with and learn.
