It's a testament to the 5.4 also. I have seen some goo over 300,000 with regular oil and still very little wear on the bore.

Make sure you don't have it on your hands when you run your fingers through your hair.

Re: Schaeffer oil
Don't know how it is in a gas engine. Not impressed at all in a 3126 cat.Had a salesman come by and sell some to my boss.He told us how you could go 10000mi per change, get better mileage and less wear.We put it in a 200,000 mile engine that used virtually no oil between oil changes at 5000mi using mobil delvac, instantly lost 10psi hot and now it uses around 3qts every 5000mi.Can't wait till it's gone.I would have sent it back if I could.Just my experiance.

I guess that depends if the "K" or the "n" is silent. Could be why HeRo likes it so much.

Re: Schaeffer oil
Seems to do well for me.... my f100 has made two trips to owensboro for the ford bash with green oil in the pan... over a thousand miles round trip at 3000-3500 rpm on the highway 10-11 hours one way only stopping for gas. Then there was the racing where I beat on the thing without mercy all day and took it bar hopping all nite lol. Anyway I like my green oil ...
