oklahoma rookie
Been reading this forum for a while. Thought i would get registered today so i can ask a few questions. Im building a 71 torino,545 ci c-6 trans. 411 gears, stock front suspension and caltracs. thanks and i hope to get to know a few of you and maybe get this thing down the track. I hope this goes to the Introduction section !

Thanks...yeah jon lives about 30 miles from me..I worked with his dad...We've been swappin parts all winter....Gettin closer to getting this big ol thing to the track.

I have bought from Jon myself mt slicks and my alky carb that he let me borrow for a while to see how I would like akly before buying a alky carb.Is that your black and white he is building the engine for

I didnt build the engine, I just helped with parts selection and broke it in as all. I built the c6 for it, had Lenny build a converter.
Dave is about as good as they come, him and Billy both.

Yep thats it. I thought i would get to drive it a little more when i bought it but it hadnt been taken care of and had to pull the 466 out and replace it with a 545.....darn.

I like this forum better than that other one with all the naked girls on it.......I keep gettin lost in there and cant find my way out of it! Kinda hard to explain to the wife that im shoppin car parts.

I have a 68 torino fast back factory 390 car I am trying to restore. You can't beat the torinos and fairlanes in my opinion!
