Re: new to NOS ! ?
I just went to a taller gear in the smallblock car, its got a 4.56 in it from the 4.71 it had. we turn that thing pretty hard though a 3" stroke crank needs some rpm.....

Re: new to NOS ! ?
Last year my 4.5 stroke deal picked up with a taller gear on spray from the 330 on so I suppose it will depend on your combo and what it likes. Start out with what you have and then you can experiment. I know your saying your gonna stick to a 150 shot, but I assure you that you won't.

I will back that statement up............. Very very close out of the box by his settings he sends. I think that is the exact plate that is on my ride.

I would try and at least run 100 or more. With nitrous octane is your friend.. SJ

Just be careful it will narrow your tuning widow considerably. Might not be a good idea for a first time nos outing.
Makes good power though.........

Tune ups are a bit less forgiving if you start going big. For what your looking to do, you'll be fine. I spray 150 through my mower

Re: new to NOS ! ?
I did on the sb car but we were still undecided if this was the route we were going and it still had the belt drive pump for the engine, I used a holley black for the now enrichment. I sold the belt pump and bought a MF prostar 300 pump to make simple and run both. 69 has MF prostar 500 ruuning both eng and nos as well.
