I can't wait to be back on the track again, last time was last july I think when I was thrown off the track for not having a cert'd chassis. Weather is supposed to be nice also.

That's a pretty decent price, I paid 179 including taxes last year for VP and it went up to 199 this year.

Good grief that is cheaper per gallon that 93 pump gas around here. 93 is about $4.25 a gallon.

Got me thinking now. I have the stuff to do a 545 stroker but the pistons are flat tops. I thought that that would limit me to a large chamber head. But, if I could get Methanol cheaper than pump gas, I might go with a set of small chamber heads. It would open up my choices for heads a lot. According to Probe's website that would put me at about 13.5:1 with a 74cc head.

I'm going to check with Interstate to see if I'm able to purchase directly from them, they are almost local to me about 60-70 miles away

Actually no update, spent the day working on the car
Didn't make it to the track.

Today was the 1st time I fired the engine up with alky.....wooooow what a difference in the throttle response and sound. Oh and the burning of the eyes when you run this thing in a trailer affraid
Still have a safety issue to work out. The knuckleheads that wired the car originally didn't wire the cut-off switch properly.
I have a alternator and when you kill the battery the engine is still running until you kill the ignition inside the car.......major safety issue for me.
Any help will be appreciated
Hopefully next weekend to the track

ALKY RULES cheers cheers cheers

run the alt wire direct to the batt, thats a good way to smoke an msd box also with only the alt powering it.
